Adhering to societal conventions

This measurement area is based on WBA’s social transformation framework. The framework consists of 18 core social indicators that assess companies on efforts to respect human rights, provide and promote decent work and act ethically. We expanded the scope of the core social indicators to include the financing activities in the four indicators that capture the human rights due diligence process. These are CSI 1 (Commitment to respect human rights), CSI 3 (Identifying human rights risks and impacts), CSI 4 (Assessing human rights risks and impacts) and CSI 5 (Integrating and acting on human rights risks and impact assessments).
