Moreover, the financial institution discloses a target for female representation of senior managers to be between 35% to 40% by 2022. It also discloses a list of trade associations of which it is a member including sustainability- and non-sustainability-related organisations.

As a member of Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative (NZAMI), Invesco has set a target of net-zero financed emissions by 2050. Furthermore, as a member of Climate Action 100+, the asset manager discloses that it collectively engages with its clients on the topic of climate change. It also discloses nature- and biodiversity-related impacts, namely natural capital, deforestation and land use, as an engagement topic with companies to which it provides financial services.

Invesco has grievance mechanisms accessible to all workers and external individuals to raise human rights complaints or concerns as well as those regarding bribery and corruption. It also has a policy prohibiting bribery and corruption, and takes steps to identify and address bribery and corruption issues. Moreover, the company discloses the proportion of women in its workforce for each employee category and the proportion of its workforce covered by collective bargaining agreements.

There is no evidence that Invesco links the remuneration of its executive or management team to sustainability performance criteria. Therefore, it has an opportunity to disclose the key sectors and companies it has identified as priorities to engage with on climate change. Though Invesco discloses that it manages more than USD 34.5 billion in dedicated sustainable investing strategies, there is no evidence it clarifies what percentage of this is specifically related to climate solutions.

While Invesco states that it is committed to respecting modern slavery, there is no evidence that it has a publicly available policy statement committing to respecting human rights. Furthermore, no evidence was found regarding its process for identifying its human rights risks and impacts across all its activities, including its financing activities. To provide transparency on financial inclusivity, the financial institution has an opportunity to disclose the amount of finance it directs towards low-income developing countries.
