For consultation: ACT Framework update

The ACT Framework was first published in 2016 with the current version updated and released in 2019. Since then, it has served as a foundation for ACT assessment methodologies and by the end of 2024 will have been used to measure and rank the 450 most influential companies in the Climate and Energy Benchmark series.

To ensure the ACT assessment methodologies remain cutting-edge and are identified as a model, the ACT initiative is currently updating its framework. We are opening the current draft to the public for consultation and the final updated version will be published by the end of this year.

Request for feedback

We invite all stakeholders to read the proposed ACT Framework update and participate in our public consultation by providing feedback.

Step 1: Review the content presented in the framework document

  • Please review this presentation before providing feedback as it provides context and guidance around the framework.
  • Please read the draft framework document here.

Step 2: Complete the dedicated survey no later than 20th September 2024

  • For those wishing to provide feedback, please click here or paste the URL https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/R9659WF into a new window in your browser.
  • Respondents will be asked to disclose their contact details. However, this is optional, and all feedback will be confidential. Personal information will only be used to contact participants on this topic and will be governed by GDPR rules. Any results that are made public will only contain summarised feedback, with no attributable quotes or identifying information.
  • We anticipate it takes 30-60 minutes to complete the consultation questions.

The consultation will stay open until 20th September 2024. We value the expertise of participants, and all your input will be key to help us develop a robust framework for the ACT assessment methodologies.

If you would like to discuss in more detail the framework update, or any other points regarding ACT assessment methodologies, please contact Yann Rosetti at y.rosetti@worldbenchmarkingalliance.org
