The material contained in WBA publications should not be construed as relating to accounting, legal, regulatory, tax, research or investment advice and it is not intended to take into account any specific or general investment objectives. The material contained in our benchmarks, studies and reports does not constitute a recommendation to take any action or to buy or sell or otherwise deal with anything or anyone identified or contemplated in the benchmark. Before acting on anything contained in this material, you should consider whether it is suitable to your particular circumstances and, if necessary, seek professional advice.

As a multi-stakeholder and collaborative foundation, WBA involves members of relevant stakeholder groups in expert review committees. The findings, interpretations and conclusions expressed in our benchmarks, studies and reports may not necessarily reflect the views of all involved or the organisations they represent.

While the material contained in our benchmarks, studies and reports have been prepared in good faith, neither WBA nor any of its agents, representatives, advisers, affiliates, directors, officers or employees accept any responsibility for or make any representation or warranty (either express or implied) as to the truth, accuracy, reliability or completeness of the information contained in the Benchmark or any other information made available in connection with the Benchmark. The data used to compile the benchmark, the rankings, scorecards, score sheets and findings are based on information publicly disclosed by companies or submitted to WBA through various means of engagement with companies and also sourced from third parties. Final scorecards were made available to all companies for fact checking purposes but not all companies will have reviewed their scorecards if they did not engage with the benchmark. Whilst based on information believed to be reliable, no guarantee can be given that it is accurate or complete. Neither WBA nor any of its agents, representatives, advisers, affiliates, directors, officers and employees undertake any obligation to provide the users of the Benchmark with additional information or to update the information contained therein or to correct any inaccuracies which may become apparent – except where an appeals procedure exists. To the maximum extent permitted by law any responsibility or liability for the Benchmark or any related material is expressly disclaimed provided that nothing in this disclaimer shall exclude any liability for, or any remedy in respect of, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Feedback Portals

The following disclaimer pertains to those invited to provide feedback on an assessment as part of the benchmarking process, via the Company Feedback Portals, during the 2025 research cycle.

The World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) is assessing your company as part of the WBA SDG2000 list of the world's most influential companies. Draft assessment data has been compiled from publicly available corporate information published in English, including sustainability reports, corporate websites, and other publicly accessible documents. Assessments are conducted in accordance with our research guidelines, which means that our assessments may be subject to refinement and consistency checks throughout the assessment period to ensure a fair comparison. As such, changes to the assessment may occur after the company has provided written feedback, up until the publication of the final results.

Please review this assessment and provide any additional relevant information from sources that are already public or that your company is making public during the engagement period, provided it is before the cut-off date stated below. Your decision whether to share any information and what information to provide is voluntary and made at your sole discretion. WBA will not request — and your company should not provide — confidential or competitively sensitive information as part of this process.

Policy and other steering documents are considered as long as they stay in force, but other sources, such as sustainability reports, will only be considered by WBA if they have been published between September 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025 - or if in specific cases the employed methodology requires a view into earlier data. If no report was published during this period, WBA will consider the most recent reports published since September 1, 2023.

The data and assessments provided here are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, regulatory, or investment advice. WBA conducts this work independently to promote transparency and advance sustainability goals. Inclusion in the benchmark does not imply endorsement or criticism.

By participating, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Information submitted will be treated as public and may be included in the final benchmark publication.
  • Reasonable efforts have been made to ensure data accuracy; however, WBA does not guarantee the completeness or reliability of the data, including third-party sources.
  • WBA and its agents disclaim liability for any impacts resulting from the use of benchmarks in a manner consistent with WBA’s objectives and methodologies.
Stakeholder Convenings

The following disclaimer pertains to those invited to participate in a multistakeholder convening.

The World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) collects publicly available, non-sensitive information in order to develop benchmarks to improve assessments of performance against sustainability goals. WBA is committed to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where it operates.

All information relied on by WBA in the course of our activities — including preparing benchmarks, reports, or other materials (the “Content”) — is publicly available or voluntarily provided by participating companies. All information herein is provided “as-is” with no guarantee of completeness, accuracy or timeliness. WBA will not ask for, and you should not provide or share with WBA, or any other company at a WBA event, any non-public competitively or commercial sensitive information. Such information could include current or forward-looking information about pricing, customers, key contract terms, or strategic plans.

Any WBA meetings or events are only to conduct WBA activities. Participants must not use this occasion, or any other WBA event, to:

  • Discuss or agree to limit your company’s independent discretion over how you choose to compete, such as by changing your pricing strategy.
  • Discuss or agree to refuse to do business with any competitor, customer, or company in your supply chain.
  • Exchange non-public, competitively or commercially sensitive information.

Participants in WBA initiatives, including Allies, companies subject to benchmarking, and any other participants, at all times retain sole discretion over whether and how to act on the information WBA provides. WBA does not speak for or represent any Ally, company subject to benchmarking, or any other participant in a WBA initiative or event, nor does any other company or entity speak for or represent WBA.

All WBA Content and activities are for informational purposes only. WBA does not provide, and you should not construe the Content or activities, as investment, financial tax, legal or other advice. WBA is not a proxy advisory firm and does not provide voting recommendations or other advice on management of an investment portfolio. WBA is not an investor and does not acquire or hold the securities of any company with the purpose or effect of changing or influencing control. Participants to the WBA Alliance and WBA Initiatives are independent organisations responsible for their own commercial, investment and voting decisions.

WBA does not act or speak on behalf of its Allies nor any other organisation. No party may claim to represent other Participants, at a WBA Initiative or the WBA Alliance without their express and written consent.

If someone suggests acting inconsistent with these principles during the event, please contact the WBA Governance Lead.
