Vicky Hao Zhang

Vicky (Hao) Zhang joins WBA as a Sustainability Research Analyst, focusing on climate and energy transition. Hao has hands-on experience as a researcher for various projects, contributing to critical analyses of EV battery supply chains and rare earth metal value chains, which have informed strategic decision-making and geopolitical insights. Her work seamlessly bridges academia and policy advocacy, evidenced by her collaborations with NGOs and global stakeholders and engagement with multilateral platforms such as UN COPs. Fluent in English and Mandarin and proficient in data analysis, Hao combines technical expertise with cross-cultural communication skills to drive actionable solutions in sustainable development as well as in advancing WBA’s mission in sustainability and climate action.
