Sofía del Valle

As Engagement Lead for the Social Transformation Team, Sofía leads on partnerships, global outreach, and strategic stakeholder engagement for WBA’s Social, Gender and Corporate Human Rights Benchmarks. Her work is driven by the strong conviction that people must be at the heart of the transition towards a more sustainable future.

Sofía has a background in social research, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement in the fields of corporate accountability and business and human rights. Prior to joining WBA, she worked as a researcher and consultant with organisations such as the World Bank, Oxfam, and Fundación Casa de la Paz in the US, Ghana, and Chile.

A native of Chile currently based in the Netherlands, Sofía holds a Master of Global Affairs and Sustainable Development from the Keough School of Global Affairs of the University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor of Sociology from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
