Jane Diplock

Jane has extensive governance experience, having chaired or served on boards of listed, unlisted, private and not for profit entities globally.
She holds degrees in Arts and Law and a Diploma of Education from Sydney University. She also holds a Diploma of International Law, International Economics and International Relations from the Australian National University. She was a Chevening Research Fellow at the London School of Economics. She is a citizen of Australia and New Zealand.
She was honoured in 2004 by Queen Elizabeth ll with the Order of Australia (AO) for service to business and commerce, charitable and public service.
Since retiring as Chairman of IOSCO and the New Zealand Securities Commission in 2011, her portfolio focus has been on global sustainability, standard setting and reporting, global finance and regulation, audit, ethics and digitization including AI.
She has served on International Advisory Committees to the securities market regulatory bodies in China (CSRC) and India (SEBI).
She has served as a member of the Public Interest Oversight Board, was a foundation board member of the International Integrated Reporting Council and served as a Director on the Board of the Singapore Stock Exchange.
Her current roles include Member of the Supervisory Board for World Benchmarking Alliance, Member of the Supervisory Board of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Director of Singapore Regulation Pte Ltd, Vice President of the Abu Dhabi Appeals Board, Member of the Advisory Board of Accounting for Sustainability (A4S), Member of the Sustainability Advisory Board of Persefoni AI Inc. and Trustee of the Wellington Zoo Trust.
Never has it been more imperative for the corporate sector to embrace and implement the UN SDGs and join government entities, individuals, and others to achieve sustainable prosperity for people and the planet by 2030. The World Benchmarking Alliance supports this objective.
