Dio Herdiawan Tobing

Dio leads the development and engagement of WBA’s public policy strategy globally, collaborating with governments and intergovernmental organisations. He is dedicated to fostering social impact through inclusive and evidence-based policy advocacy, aiming to secure a sustainable and resilient future for all.

As a seasoned public policy and development professional, Dio has more than nine years of leadership in international development and policy programme management. His experience in policy engagement started from the Asia and the Pacific region, holding roles such as Senior Consultant at Pearl Consulting for the WhatsApp policy programme in Indonesia the ASEAN Foundation, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Dutch Embassy, and a university-based think tank in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
