Charlotte leads the research on WBA’s Climate and Energy Benchmark. Through this, her work involves strategising and implementing how we turn our data into concrete impact; and creating results that enable companies, government, civil society, business/industry associations & all stakeholders to achieve a just transition and set their course for the Paris Agreement goals. With 7+ years of experience in collaborating with international stakeholders, and practical research exposure in Europe & Asia, she is passionate about working towards accelerating systems change, particularly to tackle climate change. She has an educational background in a combination of law, human rights, sustainability science and policy.
Prior to joining WBA, Charlotte was a corporate lawyer primarily advising clients in the energy sector. She then studied for an MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London, exploring the interlinkages of natural and social science-based solutions to sustainability challenges. Most recently, Charlotte worked for GRI on further developing its sustainability reporting standards. She also mapped the GRI Standards against the TCFD recommendations and other reporting frameworks’ climate-related content for the Corporate Reporting Dialogue’s Better Alignment Project.
