Lotte Corporation is a Korean-based holding company with a diversified business portfolio. In Food and Retail it has activities across department stores, confectionery, beverages, ingredients, processed foods and dining businesses, while outside of food Lotte spans the chemical, construction, manufacturing, tourism, service and finance industries. Founded in the 1960's through subsidiary Lotte Confectionary, today Lotte has a global market presence, strengthened further by joint ventures such as Lotte-Nestle and Lotte-Asahi.
