27 March 2025 – Insights into WBA’s assessment of the global financial system

What are the trends from the financial sector on issues such as climate change, Just Transition and sustainable investment in emerging markets? How can WBA’s findings support collaboration between stakeholders in the financial system to help direct their priorities to a more sustainability-focused world?

If you’re working in or alongside the financial system on sustainability, don’t miss our webinar on 27th March. We’ll dive into these pressing topics and present the 2025 Financial System Benchmark—the most comprehensive assessment of the global financial sector’s progress on the UN SDGs.

The Financial System Benchmark measures and ranks 400 of the world’s most influential financial institutions including banks, asset owners, asset managers, and insurance companies on their contribution to a just and sustainable economy. Details of the 2025 ranking can be found here.

Hosted by Capitals Coalition, the one-hour virtual session will unveil crucial findings on the benchmark, providing an overview of how the financial institutions worldwide are aligned with global sustainability goals, digging into sector and regional patterns. This will include governance, climate and nature as well as social and ethical business practices.
