Fomento Económico Mexicano (FEMSA)

FEMSA is a beverage and retail company with headquarters in Mexico. The company operates Coca-Cola FEMSA, a public bottler of Coca-Cola products, and is also a shareholder of Heineken. FEMSA also maintains strategic business units, offering logistics services, refrigeration, points of sale and plastics solutions to the rest of the FEMSA companies and other clients. Furthermore, the company also owns Oxxo, a chain of Mexican convenience stores with 19,800 locations. In total the company employs almost 300,000 people in 13 countries in Central and South America.
