Restaurant Brands International (RBI) is one of the world's largest quick service restaurant companies, with roughly 26,000 restaurants in over 100 countries. RBI owns three of the world's most well-known brands – Burger King, Tim Hortons and Popeyes – each operating independently. Almost all 17,800 Burger King restaurants are owned and operated by independent franchisees. Although comparatively smaller, Popeyes has become one of the world's largest chicken fast food chains, with over 3,100 restaurants globally.
