Trend
TEPCO receives a trend score of -. If the company were reassessed in the near future, its score would likely decrease. Based on current and planned assets, TEPCO’s emissions intensity for its own energy generation is not projected to decrease at the rate required to align with its 1.5°C pathway. Although it plans to add 7 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy capacity, unless it reconsiders its intention to rely on JERA’s coal and fossil gas for sold power, it is unlikely to align with its 1.5°C pathway.
