Magnit

Magnit is a large-scale domestic food retailer, with over 21,000 convenience stores and supermarkets located in more than 3,700 localities and 65 regions throughout Russia. The company is also vertically integrated, supplementing it's own private-label food products with several plants for growing vegetables and producing confectionary and other food products, as well as operating drogeries outside of its food activities. Magnit was founded in 1994 in Krasnador, where the company's headquarters remain and from where it coordinates distribution operations across 38 centres and a fleet of 5,700 trucks.
