Ma’aden is a multi-commodity mining and metals company in the Middle East with revenues of $7.12 billion in 2021 and was established in 1997 by a royal decree with a mandate to develop Saudi Arabia’s minerals sector as the third pillar of Saudi industry, beyond oil and petrochemicals. It operates in 17 mines and sites, has more than 6,000 direct employees and exports products to over 30 countries. Its products span across phosphate, aluminum, gold, copper and new minerals.
