Groupe Limagrain

Groupe Limagrain is an international cooperative specialising in seeds and cereal products. The history of the company dates to 1965, when local seed growers in France, who had been producing seed since 1942, established a research facility to develop maize varieties. In 1975, Groupe Limagrain purchased Vilmorin, a company selling vegetable seeds. In the decades that followed, Groupe Limagrain gradually became one of the largest players in the seed industry with activities spanning both field crops and vegetables. The company is also involved in producing and selling processed breads and pastries under the Jacquet, Brossard and Milcamps brands. Groupe Limagrain now has a sales and operational presence in 57 countries.
