Trend
PGE receives a trend score of -. If the company were reassessed in the near future, its score would likely decrease. PGE’s emissions intensity for its own energy generation is not projected to decrease at the rate required to align with its 1.5°C pathway. The emissions intensity of its purchased power for resale between 2017 and 2022 could not be assessed as PGE does not provide sufficient data. While PGE plans to increase its renewables capacity to 50% of its total capacity by 2030, unless it rapidly reconsiders its intention to rely on coal, it is unlikely this target will help the company align with its 1.5°C pathway.
