In addition to the 68 electric utilities companies, 11 capital goods companies are also assessed but not included in the ranking. The ACT assessments measure the companies’ degree of alignment to the low-carbon transition, in line with the 1.5°C Paris Agreement temperature goal. The social assessments measure whether the companies are transitioning in a just and equitable way.
