Tata Communications is an Indian telecommunication services company with Tata Group as its largest shareholder. Its customers are primarily telecommunications operators and enterprises that use the company’s large internet backbone in India as well as its subsea fibre network, which at more than 240,000 kms is one of the largest in the world. The company was incorporated in 1986, and has 55 subsidiaries providing services in more than 190 countries.
