The 2023 iteration of the Nature Benchmark assesses 30 companies from the paper and forest industry. An industry where it is immediately obvious that there is a close relation between business and biodiversity and local communities. Compared to other industries companies score high on ecosystem restoration and reporting on Indigenous people rights. Unfortunately, we still see 12 companies with a total score below 10.
