Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) is a fully state-owned company headquartered in Thailand. In 2022 its revenue was USD 22.92 billion. EGAT generates, procures, transmits and distributes electricity. It mostly produces energy using fossil gas, coal and hydro sources. EGAT also procures electricity from neighbouring countries and domestically on a wholesale basis.
