TSMC
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) is the world’s largest dedicated semiconductor manufacturer. The company was founded in in 1987. Its semiconductor fabrication plant (also known as a ‘foundry’) was the first to produce 5-nanometre semiconductors, the most advanced in the world. TSMC does not design its own chips, but manufactures them for other companies.
