Good Business Lab (GBL) is a not-for-profit labor innovation company. They use rigorous research methods to find a common ground between worker wellbeing and business interests. They believe that building the business case to support better conditions for workers is the most sustainable way to transform labor markets and enable all workers to live dignified lives. Their work follows the journey of employment, across four focus areas: unlocking female labor, closing the skill gap, improving the work environment, and building holistic health.
How are we working together?
WBA & GBL have just kicked-off a qualitative research project to engage with women workers from the textile industry in India and better understand their experience and needs in the workplace. These insights will inform WBA’s gender benchmark to ultimately hold companies to account on issues relating to gender equality and women empowerment, not only in their own operations but throughout their supply chain.
