Trend
Engie receives a trend score of =. If the company were reassessed in the near future, its score would likely remain the same. Engie has an ambitious 2045 net-zero target and has set multiple interim targets for 2030. However, these interim targets are not sufficiently ambitious to align with a 1.5°C pathway. The company has significant low-carbon activities and is planning to expand its renewable electricity, biomethane and hydrogen production. However, it is highly dependent on gas and is not planning to take significant action to transition away from gas within this decade.
