The financial institution expects suppliers to respect specific workers’ rights and has the opportunity to reference all ILO fundamental rights at work. It has the opportunity to disclose how it determines a living wage in its operational regions. While identifying material sustainability impacts across its value chain, further detail on the process and criteria for prioritisation is needed. Although evidence of third-party assurance exists, it is unclear if all targets are covered.

The institution could provide a comprehensive list of trade association memberships. Although it has time-bound and measurable targets for “green” solutions, it could specify the share allocation for climate solutions. Moreover, the institution refers to nature protection and restoration but could disclose a strategy for priority sectors.

While the institution invests in nature-positive activities, detailing the aggregate amount or share of such provisions is recommended. Engagement with clients on nature issues presents an opportunity to influence their strategies for protection and restoration. The methodology for carbon footprint calculation is partially detailed, but all aspects, including emissions coverage and data sources, should be addressed. A breakdown of clients by income group is recommended, along with an example of conclusions and actions taken regarding salient human rights issues from assessment processes in the last three years.
