Trend
EnBW receives a trend score of =. If the company were reassessed in the near future, its score would likely remain the same. EnBW has set a target to reduce its scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity by 87.4% by 2035 compared to 2018. This is supported by intermediate targets to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2027 and by 70% by 2030. Although EnBW has not been on track to achieve its targets due to the recent phasing out of nuclear power generation, its emissions intensity is projected to decrease in the next five years. This is because the company plans to replace coal with gas and increase the share of wind power generation.
