Eutelsat is a satellite operator headquartered in France. Founded in 1983 at the request of the European Space Agency, Eutelsat transformed into a private company in 2001 and went public in 2005. The group operates 39 satellites serving broadcasters, video and internet service providers, telecom operators, and government agencies across the world.
