Axiata
Axiata was founded in 1992 as the mobile and international operations arm of Telekom Malaysia. In 2008, it demerged from Telekom Malaysia and rebranded as Axiata. The company’s subsidiaries provide telecommunication services as well as financial and advertising services. Axiata had 157 million customers across six markets in Asia at the end of 2020.
