Syngenta Group
Syngenta Group, officially launched in June 2020, brings together four major companies: Syngenta Seeds, Syngenta Crop Protection, Syngenta Group China and Adama. Headquartered in Switzerland, the group is owned by ChemChina, a Chinese state-owned chemical company, which acquired the original Syngenta company in 2017. Syngenta offers a wide range of field crops, vegetable and flower seeds, and agrochemicals. The company’s affiliated non-profit organization, the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture (SFSA), focuses specifically on pre-commercial farmers and has projects in the index regions.
