As part of WBA’s ongoing consultation on the new Integrated Transition Assessment (ITA), WBA will convene a roundtable with companies, financial institutions and sustainability stakeholders in Montréal. The session will explore how climate, nature and social priorities can be assessed through a more integrated transition planning lens, moving beyond fragmented sustainability approaches. Participants will help shape the final methodology by sharing practical insights on the relevance, opportunities and challenges of integrated transition planning in the Canadian and global context.

On the sidelines of Montreal Sustainable Finance Summit, WBA is hosting an interactive event focused on the state of sustainability transitions in Canada and globally. Drawing on newly launched benchmark data across 2,000 global companies and specifically 400 financial institutions. The session will explore how Canadian financial institutions and high-impact sectors are performing on climate, nature and social transition readiness, where gaps remain, and what stronger practices look like. Through expert perspectives, peer discussion and data-driven exercises, the event aims to support more informed decision-making and collaboration across finance, policy and sustainability stakeholders.
