Global Deal for Decent Work and Inclusive Growth

Visit website

The Global Deal is a multi-stakeholder partnership for the promotion of social dialogue and sound industrial relations as effective means to address the challenges in the global labour market and enable all people to benefit from globalisation.

The partnership brings together over 130 governments, businesses and employers’ organisations, trade unions, as well as international organisations, civil society and local and regional administrations, in a joint effort to advance decent work and inclusive growth.
The government of Sweden launched the Global Deal in 2016, with the OECD and the International Labour Organization (ILO) as founding partners.

The Global Deal organises knowledge-sharing events, publishes research and good practices on the benefits of social dialogue for workers, businesses, and societies, and implements capacity-building activities worldwide.
