ECODES is an independent not-for-profit organisation that brings to the table a track record spanning 30 years in the development, management, and promotion of sustainable development initiatives in Spain and Latin America. The Ecodes Foundation works in different areas including responsible consumption, social and environmental impact studies, sustainability research, environmental campaigns as well as international cooperation projects (centered primarily in Central America). In addition, Ecodes is involved heavily in making sure that the government of Spain complies with the SDGs. In this area, they manage the technical secretariat of the multi-stakeholder initiative, Futuro en Comun (Common Future) which represents over one fifty Spanish NGOs and civil society platforms working together to pressure the Spanish government to take an ambitious posture in terms of SDG implementation, management and monitoring.
