Will originally joined WBA in the research team where he conducted research and analysis on companies’ performance on material topics and developing indicators across methodologies in the Food and Agriculture, Nature and Biodiversity and Financial System Transformation benchmarks.

More recently, he has moved into the Impact, Learning and Developing team working as an Impact Researcher. Through this role, Will focuses on measuring the impact of WBA’s benchmarks and engagement activities in line with WBA’s Theory of Change. This includes addressing questions such as how is performance in WBA’s benchmark’s cascading through to positive impact on people, workers and the planet? What is the added value of WBA’ materials for stakeholders to hold companies accountable on their sustainability commitments? With a background in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning and sustainability reporting from time at the Global Reporting Initiative and experience in an asset manager, Will strongly believes the use of reliable and measurable data can hold companies accountable on their sustainability commitments towards achieving the SDGs.
