Romain Sibille

Regional Corporate Alliances Manager for East Asia and Pacific, UNICEF

Involved in associative and social causes since his adolescence, Romain spend half his career in the private sector (Consulting, Tourism, Retail, …) and half in the international cooperation and social sector. He has developed a dual competence and sensitivity that he exercises today promoting a more strategic role of private and public actors in solving great social challenges, particularly for children in Latin America. For the last decade, he has specialized in developing and implementing new models on the intersection between business and social impact. Today he is the focal point for UNICEF’s 14 country offices in East Asia and Pacific region, to which he provides expertise and support to strengthen their collaboration with companies, business chambers and governments, within the frameworks of the SDGs, Child Rights and Business Principles, and Shared Value Partnerships.

In his regional role, Romain leads on the areas of institutional and regulatory frameworks on Child Rights and Business, children digital rights, climate change and business, prevention of overweight and obesity, disaster’s prevention and risk reduction, prevention, and reduction of violence against women and children, and promotion of family-friendly workplaces, among others.

Romain holds two master’s degree, in international business and telecommunications from Institut Mines-Télécom – Business School, and in Economics and Administration from Université d’Evry.
