Penelope Gregoriou

Penelope is a research analyst in the Financial System Benchmark. She is passionate about sustainable development and about leveraging capital as a catalyst for socio-economic change and environmental protection.

Prior to joining WBA, Penelope worked in the investment division at a major South African pension fund administrator, where she worked in sustainability and ESG research and reporting.

Penelope is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community and sits on the sustainability technical committee of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

She holds a BA in International Studies from Monash University, a postgraduate degree in Development Finance from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business and has completed the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.
