Chin Shian

In November 2022, Chin joined WBA as a Research Analyst for the Digital Inclusion Benchmark (DIB). Following DIB’s publication in March 2023, she has also started working with the Food and Agriculture team while concurrently participating in the methodology review process of DIB.  She is passionate about issues such as digital inclusion, climate change and sustainability.

Prior to joining WBA, Chin worked at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, where she explored the role of fintechs in enabling green and sustainable finance. She has also interned with the World-Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Singapore, the UNDP-Human Development Report Office, as well as the United Nations Economic and Social Commission of Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). Chin holds a Masters of Economics degree from the National University of Singapore.
