Aparna Trichur

Aparna leads global and multi-stakeholder engagement for our Alliance of more than 300+ organisations that span more than 35 countries around the world, and belong to stakeholder groups such as multilateral and government agencies, think tanks, academic/research institutions, civil society and NGOs, sustainability consultancies, financial organisations and more (see who our Allies are here). Through this, she works on creating partnerships and community building, all towards mobilising a concrete movement for action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Prior to WBA, Aparna worked for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by leading Public Affairs and Communications at the Netherlands Consulate in Mumbai. She has strong experience in multi-stakeholder engagement, policy and communications, in managing high-level governmental delegations including State/Prime Ministerial/Royal visits and in dealing with public diplomacy projects. A native of India, she holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.
