Andrea Pradilla
Director, Global Reporting Initiative (Latin America)
Andrea Pradilla is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, Specialist in International Business Law from the Universidad de los Andes and holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service with Honors from Georgetown University. She also holds an Honors Certificate in International Business Diplomacy from Georgetown.
Prior to joining Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Andrea led the National Contact Point for the OECD Guidelines at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism in Colombia. Previously, Andrea worked as a consultant in Corporate Social Responsibility and Development at Wise Solutions LLC in Washington DC. She was also a member of the Albright Stonebridge Group and the International Labor Rights Forum in Washington DC. Previously, she served as advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia.
Since 2014, Andrea Pradilla is the Director of GRI in Latin America where she promotes corporate sustainability, transparency and accountability using the GRI Standards. Andrea is also a professor of Corporate Sustainability at the Colegio de Estudios Superiores en Administración-CESA, Universidad de los Andes and EAFIT. She has been a guest lecturer at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina ‘Santa María de los Buenos Aires and Universidad del Aconcagua. She has also spoken and lectured at more than 300 events, including the World Economic Forum, United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights, COP20, IDB Invest Week, World Bank Regional Conferences, among others. She is also a member of the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s Global Advisory Group on Inclusive Economies, member of the board of Fundación América Solidaria in Colombia, among others.
