Alina Rashid

Alina is currently Senior Manager, Strategy, Corporate Sustainability, PETRONAS. Alina has more than 17 years’ working experience in finance and strategy in the energy sector. She started her career in 2006 with Smith & Williamson, an audit firm based in London. In 2010, she joined PETRONAS in Corporate Finance department, where she worked on various funding, corporate structuring and mergers and acquisition projects.

Before starting at Corporate Sustainability in 2022, Alina spent 5 years with Corporate Strategic Planning (“CSP”), where she contributed towards strategy development, corporate planning and portfolio management.

Alina holds a BSc Economics degree from University College London. She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with Institute of Chartered Accountant of England and Wales (“ICAEW”).
