Ahmed is a Project Lead for the UNFCCC Conference of Parties COP at WBA. He serves as the central focal point of contact for COP27 in WBA and leads on COP and UNFCCC engagements in the run-up to and during the COP27.

As a sustainability and social impact professional, Ahmed has seven years of experience assisting organisations in adopting sustainability practices and reporting on their ESG impact. His areas of expertise revolve around sustainability reporting, sustainable finance, social impact assessment, project management, and research analysis. Ahmed`s portfolio extends to implementing sustainability projects across various sectors, including finance, food & beverage, energy and government.

Ahmed studied Political Science at Cairo University, where he also accomplished his 1st degree in Public Policy. And now, he is pursuing an MSc degree in Sustainable Development at the University of Sussex.
