Ahmed Mohamed

Ahmed joined WBA as a COP27 Project Lead and is currently an Institutional Engagement Lead. His responsibilities include helping set WBA’s institutional narrative on corporate accountability in the context of sustainable development and fostering relevant institutional engagements with different stakeholder groups to close the corporate accountability gap.

As a sustainability and social impact professional, he is experienced in assisting organizations to adopting sustainability practices and reporting on their ESG impact. His areas of expertise revolve around sustainability reporting, sustainable finance, social impact assessment, project management, and research analysis. Ahmed’s portfolio extends implementing sustainability projects across various sectors, including finance, food & beverage and energy. Ahmed holds a master’s degree in sustainable development from the University of Sussex.
