The state of play on business and human rights: Trends and insights from five iterations of the Corporate Human Rights Benchmark (2018–2023)

This key trends report analyses five years of the Corporate Human Rights Benchmark (CHRB), which yielded in-depth data on corporate human rights practices in five high-risk sectors from 2018 to 2023. Going beyond comparing the performance of individual companies, this report provides a holistic view of the state of play of business and human rights, identifying where progress has been made and where persistent challenges remain. Additionally, the report highlights several leading practices of companies included in the CHRB.

This file contains data from five CHRB assessments between 2018 and 2023, which was analysed for the The State of Play on Business and Human Rights report. The dataset provides an overview of CHRB results per year, per company on an element level.
