The Methodology for the Climate and Energy Benchmarks

This report is a general overview of the methodology used in the different Climate and Energy benchmarks. It sets out the framework used in our assessments, and the scoring approach per dimension, namely, the ACT (Assessing Low-Carbon Transition) assessment, and the social assessment (including core social and just transition indicators). Companies are ranked based on one integrated score comprising their ACT and social assessment scores.
