Greening digital companies: monitoring emissions and climate commitments 2024

This report, now in it’s third edition, was published in September 2024 by the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and examines the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and energy usage of the 200 leading tech companies worldwide. The report’s 2024 edition provides the first comprehensive overview of ‘Scope 3’ corporate value-chain emissions that make up most of the emission footprints of digital companies and considers the environmental impact of AI.
