Methodology

For consultation: ACT Automotive Manufacturer Methodology

Methodology update document

The ACT Automotive Manufacturer methodology was first published in 2020; at the time it was one of the most ambitious assessment methodologies of the automotive sector. The methodology uses a science-based approach to assess companies’ decarbonization strategies and associated transition plan. Now the time has come to update the methodology, to ensure it remains cutting-edge in its ambition, relevance, and comprehensiveness.
