Tokyo Metro

Established in 2004, Tokyo Metro is a joint-stock company owned by the Government of Japan and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. It operates the rapid transit system in Tokyo, covering a total operating length of 195 kilometres with 180 stations and 2,724 trains. Tokyo Metro caters to an average of 6 million passengers daily. In 2017, Tokyo Metro expanded its operations with the establishment of an affiliate in Hanoi, Vietnam, aimed at managing the Hanoi Metro.
