The Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc. (TEPCO) is a publicly listed company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with approximately 55.94% owned by the Government of Japan. In 2019, TEPCO moved all thermal power electricity generation to JERA, a 50-50% joint venture with Chubu Electric Power. TEPCO serves around 15 million energy customers, making it one of the largest energy providers in the country.
