State Grid Corporation of China

The State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) is a state-owned energy distribution company that serves 80% of the Chinese grid, including five megacities, Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Jiangsu and Shanghai. State Grid is the largest utility company in the world, supplying 1.1 billion people with electricity and employing 1.7 million people. It is also the fourth largest company in the world by revenue.
