Guangzhou Metro Corporation, established in 1992, is a transport company fully owned by the Guangzhou municipal government. The corporation operates a comprehensive rail network covering 1,139 km, comprising 652.7 km of local metro lines, 22.1 km of tram lines and 318.6 km of intercity railways. Additionally, it oversees 145.3 km of international projects, including the Lahore Orange Line in Pakistan. The corporation serves 3.1 billion passengers, amounting to 25 billion passenger km, annually.
Summary
