Established in 1760 and headquartered in London, The Crown Estate is owned by the Monarch and holds significant rural and urban land holdings in the UK. The company focuses on long-term investment and management in land and infrastructure, engaging in real estate activities such as retail, leisure and office buildings, as well as managing much of England's coastline. In 2023, it achieved a notable increase in offshore wind capacity, providing clean energy for around 11 millions of homes.
